BLUER SKIES
Dear Caroline,
The clouds have lifted… I think. I’m feeling more at home now in Paris and I’m making friends. Met a girl from California, she’s really cool and we went for lunch at one of my restaurants Paul & Julienne. It was nice to be talking with someone other than the thoughts in my head. She works in marketing which gives her the flexibility to do a trip like this to Paris.
One of my classes is a media class, it’s really fun. When I was in high school we didn’t have the tech se have today so I’m living out a little dream of mine. We did interviews, news segments, podcasts. All the fun stuff it’s great and I get to work with the other students. This class really reinforces that my next job needs to be some sort of creative thing, I don’t think I can go back to doing math and cutting cheques all day. I’m also starting to pack and plan my Italian weekend getaway to Milan. It’s only two nights so I don’t need much but, I am bringing a whole bunch of stuff back to Paris. I miss my Italian snacks!
Paris has weird weather, one week it’s fall temperatures and you need a jacket. The next it’s full blown heatwave and just breathing makes you sweat. I am looking forward to fall here in Paris when the leaves change and it becomes sweater weather. I thrive when I wear a sweater.
Have you found your dress yet for Caspianne’s wedding?
