Dear Caroline
Dear Caroline,
It’s finally time! I’m headed to Europe! I’ve sold all my stuff, saved what I needed for Europe, and now I’m headed to Texas for a quick vacation before I fly off to Berlin.
When you live somewhere for a long time you start to accumulate things. I collected some pretty cool things over the years. I found some old piano music, a roll of film negatives, and I found the little Wonder Woman you made me. I remember when you gave it to me I wasn’t sure yet I’d be going to Europe. When I opened your gift I was so touched that you took the time and made me a little craft, and the you said “it’s a friend, for your trips”. And in that moment I knew I had to go to Europe. Ever since then she’s been snug in my passport holder waiting for adventure. I will take her with me everywhere.
In this letter you’ll find two Polaroids of Wonder Woman at her first of many destinations: The CN Tower! The most recognizable Toronto landmark. All along my trip I’ll take photos with Wonder Woman and share them with you. This time in a letter, but next time it will be on a website, very easy to find. You’ll be able to track all the adventures she and I have, all dedicated to you in a section called Dear Caroline.
This trip would have never happened without you and your creative thoughtfulness.
Ps. I think we need a name for Wonder Woman. Got any ideas?
